We have an enhanced transition process to ensure that students quickly settle into secondary school life. This includes a visit by one of our Pastoral Team to meet your child and their teacher in their primary school, a Year 6 Parent/Carer Information Evening during the Summer Term and three transition days in the Summer Term. We also hold a three day  Summer School in August which is based around team building to build confidence. This means that we feel like we already know your child before they start with us. We have a Parent/Carer Evening at the beginning Year 7 to discuss how your child is settling in. Parents and Carers comment on the positive difference that our approach makes.
