Course Outline:
Component 1:
Fitness and Body systems – This includes: Applied anatomy and physiology, Movement analysis, Physical training and Use of data.
Component 2:
Health and Performance – This includes: Health, fitness and well-being, Sports psychology, Socio-cultural influences and Use of data.
Component 3:
Practical Performance – You must participate in three separate activities. In lessons we will cover Athletics, Badminton and Basketball. You will be at an advantage if you play sport for a team outside of school or represent the school in Football, Netball, Athletics or Basketball.
Component 4:
Personal Exercise Plan – students will plan, analyse and evaluate their own exercise plan.
