Whilst we were enjoying our Bank Holiday weekend, our 16 Silver Duke of Edinburgh participants were having quite an adventure. Mrs. Murphy reports,
‘The 16 silver participants had a really successful qualifying expedition dealing with temperatures that ranged from 25°C to 8°C and winds that meant it felt like 2°C, it was definitely varied! They walked around 60km throughout the whole weekend, showing plenty of determination, ambition and resilience and they were all kind, courteous and respectful throughout as well.’ Well done to them all and our thanks go to Mrs. Murphy, Mr. Lough, Miss Robson and Mr. Swain for their time and commitment in making it all possible.
