E-Safety Alert

Parents should be aware that the police are investigating an online safeguarding matter relating to control and coercion, which originated out of school. Whilst there is no immediate danger, parents are advised (as in yesterday's message) to be vigilant about their child's social media contacts and privacy settings.

It is possible that in a development of this matter, students may receive inappropriate images. We have learned this evening that this has happened, through Facebook,  to a small number of students in Y10. The contact name to monitor and block is 'Esmeralda Estrada' or 'Juan ', although it is possible this has changed.  Should your child receive any such images, please report to the police on 101 quoting case reference 1602170154.
